Q: Does my child need to bring their own lunch?
A: Yes. While we offer plenty of snacks throughout the day (fruit, raisins and treats cooked over the fire) we do not offer a full lunch.
Q: Can my child come if they are under 5 years old?
A: Due to Ofsted regulations, children under 5 cannot attend more than 4 hours at a time in our club. If you have a child who has started school but has not turned 5 yet and would really like to attend the club, you have the option of either picking them up an hour earlier or joining them at the club for the final hour. Please get in touch with us before booking to discuss this with us.
Q: What should my child wear?
A: In order to ensure everyone has a good time, it is essential children wear the correct gear. Most of the time having plenty of layers, a proper waterproof outer layer and sturdy, waterproof shoes on is a necessity. We also advise you to send a spare change of clothes. Long trousers are advisable even in the summer months as the site has quite a few nettles.
