Dorka

Hello, I'm Dorka! I worked as a primary school teacher for nine years but I always felt that I wanted to work with children in a different way. When I discovered Forest School, I knew this was the right path to take. After completing my Level 3 Forest School Leader course, I began running Forest School sessions and started working as a Woodland Tutor in an alternative provision. And that is how Wild Wings was born! I am a passionate supporter of play-based learning and enjoy facilitating children's holistic development.

My love of the outdoors and interest in helping others improve their mental health led me to further train and qualify as an Advanced Wilderness Therapeutic practitioner. Wild Mothers was born out of this and I am really excited to introduce adults as well as children to the benefits of nature.
